Reliability aware green workflow scheduling using ε-fuzzy dominance in cloud

چکیده

Abstract The enormous energy consumed by cloud data centers (CDCs) increases the carbon footprints, operational cost and decreases system reliability, so it becomes a great challenge for CDCs providers. Dynamic voltage frequency scaling (DVFS) is an efficient approach efficiency, which reduces operating frequency, supply of processor during task’s execution. Recent research shows that has negative impact on system’s reliability as transient fault rate resources. Thus, consumption are two prime concerns in computing environment requires attention. Most workflow scheduling algorithms literature do not consider simultaneously. In this paper, we proposed ε-fuzzy dominance based reliable green (FDRGS) algorithm, optimizes application’s simultaneously using mechanism. simulation results obtained fast Fourier transform (FFT) gaussian elimination (GE) task graphs manifest our algorithm more optimizing lifetime jointly than several widely used algorithms. will help scientists engineers further insight into future area cloud.

Energy aware scheduling across 'green' cloud data centres

Data centre energy costs are reduced when virtualisation is used as opposed to physical resource deployment to a volume sufficient to accommodate all application requests. Nonetheless, regardless of the resource provisioning approach, opportunities remain in the way in which they are made available and workload is scheduled. Cost incurred at a server is a function of its hardware characteristic...
